We often hear this phrase, that an EFT practitioner should meet a client where they’re at. We agree but what does that really entail? What kinds of circumstances or challenges might get in the way of that? Can the client be the problem in that scenario or is it more likely the challenge facing the practitioner? What kinds of obstacles might prevent a practitioner from consciously or unconsciously being able to do just that? What may interfere with clinically integrating a person centered approach into your work? Where do maintaining personal values come into play? What about vicarious trauma? It’s a great topic that we enjoyed exploring in this episode of EFT Nation.
